What are the asking prices for (non-turbo) Cirrus SR22-G3 aircraft with the Avidyne Entegra flight deck? Compared to several years ago, asking prices are higher and there are fewer G3 planes to choose among.
This past month, Controller advertised only six (6) normally aspirated SR22-G3 Avidyne’s for sale in the United States. All the planes had air-conditioning except one and all were GTS models except one. If it’s available, expect an asking price of about $330,000 for a low-time Avidyne G3 GTSx aircraft with WAAS and air-conditioning.

Cirrus manufactured the Avidyne SR22-G3’s beginning in the spring of 2007 and production continued into the following year. It’s estimated that Cirrus produced 260 non-turbo SR22-G3 Avidyne planes and 350 turbo Avidynes during that period.
In 2008, Cirrus Perspective by Garmin flight deck became available. For a
limited time, customers could choose either flight deck, but before year-end Perspective became the standard.
Over the past several years, I’ve seen the 2008 Perspective SR22 carry a $60K-$70K premium over SR22-G3 Avidyne Entegra models. But currently, it’s hard to find 2008 Perspective SR22’s listed.
If you want the benefits of the redesigned SR22-G3 wing the lowest price entry point is the 2007 – 2008 model with the Avidyne flight deck. Some pilots view this series as a sweet spot among pre-owned Cirrus Aircraft. You may find that the turbo G3 Avidyne is an even better value.
