A New Aircraft Purchased – Cirrus SR22TN Turbo
In October 2013, our partnership purchased a 2008 Turbo Cirrus SR22TN-G3 GTSx with the Perspective by Garmin flight deck. We selected a low-time aircraft with less than 500 hours.

We enrolled in the Cirrus Advanced Transition Training Course. One of benefits of a flying partnership is more training time. We doubled our transition training by going through the process together. One pilot sat in the backseat to listen and observe while the other flew the plane with the instructor. We plan on participating in 90-day and 6-month recurrency training.
This is my first turbo aircraft. I’ll share flight experiences and operational information in future posts.
