What is the price for a turbo-normalized Cirrus with Perspective by Garmin flight deck? Prices and quantities are stable, except for the 2008 model year. That’s the first year Cirrus Perspective by Garmin was available and only three 2008 Perspectives were on Controller this past month.

In all, there were a baker’s dozen of Turbo Cirrus Perspective SR22TN’s for sale in the United States. The majority of planes were GTSx models (10/13), most had air-conditioning (8/13), and all had the yaw damper option except one (12/13).

How much does a Turbo Cirrus SR22TN-G3 Avidyne cost?

What is the price for turbo-normalized Cirrus SR22TN-G3 aircraft with the Avidyne flight deck? Compared to several years ago, the asking prices are stable and the quantity of listings are about the same.

This past month, there were a dozen (12) of these turbo’s for sale in the United States. A majority of the planes were GTS models (9/12), most had air-conditioning (8/12), and many had significant owner upgrades, such as, DFC-90 autopilot.

Cirrus Aircraft Shipments 2013

How many airplanes has Cirrus Aircraft manufactured? Cirrus Aircraft has shipped a total of 5,600 airplanes.  In 2013, Cirrus shipped 276 airplanes which was a 9.1% increase over the prior year.  Yet deliveries are still running half pre-recession levels. A New Aircraft Purchased – Cirrus SR22TN Turbo

In October 2013, our partnership purchased a 2008 Turbo Cirrus SR22TN-G3 GTSx with the Perspective by Garmin flight deck.  We selected a low-time aircraft with less than 500 hours.

We enrolled in the Cirrus Advanced Transition Training Course.  One of benefits of a flying partnership is more training time. We doubled our transition training by going through the process together. One pilot sat in the backseat to listen and observe while the other flew the plane with the instructor.  We plan on participating in 90-day and 6-month recurrency training.

This is my first turbo aircraft.  I’ll share flight experiences and operational information in future posts.

Cirrus Aircraft SR22 Turbo Shipments

What is the difference between the Cirrus SR22TN Turbo and Cirrus SR22T?  In July 2006, Cirrus climbed into the flight levels when they announced their first turbo normalized engine. That year Cirrus shipped thirty SR22 Turbos which included a limited number of Signature Edition models signed by the Klapmeier brothers.
